The responsible authority is the natural or legal entity which decides on the purposes and means of processing personal data (e.g. names, e-mail addresses etc.), either alone or together with others. You of course have multiple personal rights with which we will gladly comply:

Information: We attend to our obligation to disclose information in this data protection declaration.

Erasure: You can request the erasure of your data if the multiple exceptions of the GDPR are not effective.

Retrieving information from the website

In the process of normal "surfing" on our website, the following data are collected and used in your interest to make websites available:

Date and time (This allows us to assign a time and use it to localize technical problems, for example.)

IP address (Collection of the IP address is necessary for the web server to send you the desired data.)

The requested data (Which file do you request? In which subdirectory is it located?)

The port through which you request the data (This information is automatically sent by your browser. The desired websites are received via this port.)

The referring website (Some browsers also send the URL of the previously used website with each retrieval.)

Name of the browser used by you to surf the Internet (This information is automatically sent by your browser. We may use this information to present the contents in the most visually appealing way. Your browser may also send other information, e.g. through installed programs.)

The status of the request (Here we can see whether the desired website exists and has been successfully delivered to you.)

Miscellaneous: For the sake of completeness it should be mentioned that your browser may send additional data to our web server (browser name, screen resolution, etc.). Naturally, we have no influence on this.

The data described above is only stored for fractions of a second in the main memory of the web server. This process is technically absolutely necessary in order to make a website available, which is why we have a "legitimate interest" within the meaning of Article 6 (1f) GDPR. The web server is located at a European operator. Due to the nature of the Internet, this data is inevitably processed on a large number of servers until your enquiry reaches our web server; it can therefore also be collected and used in "third countries" (e.g. the USA). Our company has no influence whatsoever on this process. The above data is additionally stored in the form of log files for a limited period of time in order to analyse possible technical problems (or hacker attacks). We keep these log files for 5 days. If there are no problems (or hacker attacks), then nobody looks into these files. These log files are important in order to prove the criminal behaviour to the prosecution authorities; in this respect we have a "legitimate interest" in the sense of Article 6 (1f) GDPR.

The website operator has a legitimate interest in the storage of cookies for the technically error-free and optimized provision of his services. If other cookies (e.g. cookies used to analyse your surfing behaviour) are also stored, they will be treated separately in this privacy policy.
